Cookie Policy
Which cookies and similar technologies weldgrid.gr uses, why, and how you can control them.
Last updated 16 October 2026
- No tracking cookies. No analytics, advertising or social media cookies are used.
- One cookie for visitors. It remembers your choices in the cookie banner for 12 months.
- Two settings on your device. Your language and your accessibility settings, only when you use these tools.
- Your choice at any time. The cookie button at the bottom left of every page opens your settings.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the local storage of your browser, keep small pieces of data on your device in the same way. This policy covers both, and calls them cookies for short.
First-party cookies are set by the website you visit. Third-party cookies are set by other domains, for example by embedded content or advertising networks. Our website uses only first-party cookies and storage.
2. The rules we follow
Under Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006, which implements the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, a website may store data on your device without your consent only when this is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Everything else needs your prior consent, given freely, specifically and in an informed way, as the GDPR requires. We also follow the guidance of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority on cookies.
3. What weldgrid.gr uses
The list below comes from a scan of the website on 16 October 2026. The scan recorded every cookie and every item of local storage, from the first visit to the use of the language switch and of the accessibility tool.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cookieyes-consentCookie | CookieYes, on weldgrid.gr | Stores your choices in the cookie banner, so that it does not ask again on every page | 1 year | Not needed, strictly necessary |
__GT_TRANSLATE_LANGSLocal storage | GTranslate, on weldgrid.gr | Remembers the language you chose with the language switch, so that the next pages open in that language | Until you change the language or clear the data of the website | Not needed, set only when you ask for a language |
cya11y-user-settingsLocal storage, or a cookie with the same name if local storage is blocked | AccessiYes by CookieYes, on weldgrid.gr | Remembers the settings you choose in the accessibility tool, such as text size or contrast | Until you reset the settings or clear the data of the website | Not needed, set only when you change a setting |
wordpress_* wp-settings-* wfwaf-authcookie-*Cookies | WordPress and Wordfence, on weldgrid.gr | Keep the administrators of the website signed in and protect their sessions. They are never set for visitors | From the end of the session up to 1 year | Not needed, strictly necessary |
No other cookies are set, and nothing else is stored on your device.
4. Categories in the cookie banner
The cookie banner groups cookies into Necessary, Functional, Analytics, Performance and Advertisement. At the moment the website uses only necessary cookies and storage, so no cookies are set in the other categories, whatever you choose there.
If we ever add a tool in one of these categories, it will run only after you consent to it, and we will update this policy first.
5. Content from other servers
The fonts, the images, the 3D animations and the video of the website are served from our own server. The website does not embed YouTube videos, maps or social media posts, so no other company can set cookies through embedded content. The links to LinkedIn are plain links.
To show the cookie banner, your browser loads its script from the servers of CookieYes, which also receive the record of your choice. When you choose Greek, your browser loads the translation script from GTranslate and sends the text of the page to Google Translate. Like every server, these servers receive your IP address. Our Privacy Policy explains how this data is handled.
6. How to control cookies
- In the banner. On your first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject all cookies that are not necessary or choose by category.
- At any time. The cookie button at the bottom left of every page opens your settings again, where you can change or withdraw your consent.
- In your browser. You can block or delete cookies and the data of a website in the settings of your browser. The help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge explain how.
If you block necessary cookies, the website still works, but it does not remember your cookie choice, your language or your accessibility settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We scan the website again whenever we add a tool that may use cookies, and we update this policy before the tool goes live. The date at the top shows the current version.
8. Contact
